Fellows and Staff Retreat

August 22-24 2008, Cape Cod

ICfC Fellows, Staff, and associates are getting togeter for a few days in the town of Wellfleet to review the work of ICfC in the past months and to plan ahead.

The focus of this retreat is strategic planning for the year ahead, addressing plans for sustainability of our programs in Israel, Cambodia, Europe and elsewhere, integration of the new staff into the Boston office, and communication between the offices in the regions and the headquarters in Boston. We will be tightening organizational structure in light of the growing staff, and planning concrete workshops and events for this Fall. Last but not least, it is an opportunity for us to be in touch with former fellows and associates, bring them up to speed about the Center's activities and solicit feedback and advice.

We also have an occasion to celebrate and reminisce about the past few years of our work: Dasha Kusa, ICfC's first fellow and later its' first Program Director, is moving to the Netherlands to work with our partner organization Euroclio and continue to work in ICfC's European program. We will wish farewell to Dasha and welcome Monica Sanders, the incoming Program Director who came on board of ICfC this August.
